2019 Sactioned Region 9 Flyball Competition.

Triad Dog Games is hosting a Region 9 sanctioned Flyball competition, hosted by B.O.S.S., and Blockade Runners.  Spectators love to watch this sport and have dubbed it "doggy drag racing" as many have never seen this dog sport before. All spectators and their pooches welcome to watch, ask questions, learn how to get your dog involved in flyball, and watch these relay dogs show their stuff!

WHAT IS FLYBALL?

Teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line - over hurdles - to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses a trigger (spring-loaded pad).  Then they race back to the handlers at the line with the ball to tag the next relay dog.

Information will be on hand to learn about the dog-sport and team representatives to learn how to get your dog started in flyball.  Please note, this is a "loud" sport! Barks ricochet in the enclosed gym-area  (We'll have some earplugs on hand for those who find it a bit overwhelming.)

LOCATION: Education Building (Inside)

SPECTATOR'S SCHEDULE: May 18, 2019
Competitions start very early and will be running and open to spectators all day Saturday, May 18.  (Sunday it is open to competitors only.)
